Travel Details

Buses will be arranged by the organization at designated locations. These buses will take the travelers from the railway station to the temples and bring them back to the station after sightseeing. For places without designated markers, the distance from the temple to the station is not significant, and travelers can reach those places on foot or by rickshaw (at their own expense). This way, travelers will have to walk very little.

During the journey, travelers will be provided with morning bed tea, breakfast, and evening tea-snacks. Lunch and dinner will also be provided during the trip. Meals will include one dal, one vegetable dish, rice, and roti. Evening tea will also be served. Desi ghee will be used in roti, dal, and rice, while refined oil will be used in snacks and vegetable dishes. Both Basmati and non-Basmati rice will be served at different times based on availability. Depending on the schedule, travelers will also be provided with pickles, papad, sweets, and salad along with meals. Onions and garlic will not be used in the food preparation. The meals will be pure vegetarian and cooked on a traditional wood stove. Each traveler will be given a bottle of mineral water during lunch and dinner.

Each traveler must carry two passport-size photos, original voter card, and original Aadhar card. Please carry a glass, spoon, plastic bucket, mug, plastic seat (3x3 feet), clothesline for drying clothes, and bedding (according to the weather) for personal use.

To ensure the safety of the travelers' belongings, the committee will arrange sufficient individuals to prepare and serve tea, snacks, and meals on the train. Travelers are advised not to wear gold or silver jewelry. The responsibility for any financial or physical loss and the safety of the travelers' belongings during the journey lies solely with the individual travelers. The organizing committee will not be responsible for the losses incurred by the travelers.

During the train journey, every traveler will be provided with a full berth for sleeping. No berths will be left empty in between the seats in the compartment. Each compartment will be equipped with Three Tier Sleeper Class. Travelers are advised to bring their bedding (according to the weather) for the train journey. For places where there are no train facilities, arrangements for overnight stays for the travelers will be made at guesthouses by the committee.

Our journey will have only basic medical arrangements. Travelers who regularly take medicines are advised to carry their medications with them according to the travel program's schedule. In case of any medical need during the journey, arrangements for hospital/doctor will be made by the committee at the expense of the traveler. Travelers will be responsible for any unforeseen accidents or natural disasters during the journey. Each compartment will have a charging board for mobile charging, but the safety of mobile devices will be the responsibility of the individual traveler.

Unaccompanied elderly individuals and women can also comfortably undertake the journey with us. The journey environment is similar to being at home with family, ensuring that they won't feel lonely or uncomfortable during the trip.

Travelers availing L.T.C./L.F.C. facility will be provided with the travel receipt, travel certificate, and a copy of the railway-issued travel program. However, the responsibility of providing L.T.C. will not be borne by the organization.

Travelers are advised to bring the remaining amount in cash or a draft/cheque from any bank in the name of "Shri Shiv Shankar Tirth Yatra (Raji)" for the settlement of their remaining payment in Rishikesh branch.

Travelers are required to follow the following rules.

Travelers must fully comply with the rules laid down by the Railway Department for special travel (regarding luggage, railway time table and bogie checking). It is mandatory for all travelers to abide by these rules. The jurisdiction for any dispute will be only in Rishikesh (Dehradun). Even for disputes arising under the Consumer Forum, the jurisdiction will be in Rishikesh (Dehradun).

Travelers are requested to inform the head office after booking to avoid any possible errors. While booking seats, carefully read the name and photo of the founder Shri Lala Shivcharan Lal Agarwal and the name of the travel agency.

Each traveler must follow the itinerary as per the time table. If anyone separates from the group due to any reason, they will be responsible for reaching the next station/destination at their own expense. Travelers suffering from infectious diseases, consuming intoxicants, or causing disruptions will be excluded from the journey at the discretion of the organizer.

If a traveler, due to any reason or illness, decides to return home leaving the journey incomplete, the organizer will only provide a three-tier sleeper class ticket to reach home. No refund will be given in any circumstance. This provision will be applicable only up to 5 days before the completion of the journey.

The availability of trains during the journey is subject to the time schedule. In case of train delays, flight cancellations, bus breakdowns, changes by the railway, bad weather, weekly holidays, strikes, rallies, or any situation leading to a lack of sightseeing at a particular place, the organization/organizer requests travelers to cooperate fully with any changes made in the program considering the circumstances.

During the journey, the managers will try their best to provide maximum comfort to the travelers. However, some inconvenience during the journey is natural. At that time, travelers are advised to bear it with the spirit of sacrifice and provide full support to the organizer. For any errors in printing, please forgive us.

Rules for Cancellation of Journey: If any traveler wishes to cancel their booked seat for any reason, they must provide a written notice at least 12 days before the date of departure. In such cases, the advance amount (after deducting the railway reservation cancellation fee) will be refunded. If the cancellation notice is not received before 12 days from the date of departure, the advance amount will not be refunded. If the booking is made within the last 12 days before the journey date, and the traveler cancels their seat, no advance amount will be refunded.
