Uttarakhand Char-Dham, Haridwar, Rishikesh Yatra Details
This special tirth yatra journey will commence on 09 May, 16 May, 24 May, 28 May, 06 June, 10 June, 17 June, 23 June, 29 Aug & 10 Sept 2024 from Haridwar.
Haridwar:Auspicious arrival and Ganga bath, sacred abode, Vaishno Devi, visit to Bharat Mata Temple (Night rest at Mahajan Bhavan, Dudhadhari Chowk, behind Maheshwari Sadan, Haridwar).
Departure from Haridwar for Yamunotri at 6 AM (Night rest in Syanachatti).
Morning journey by bus to Janakichatti, followed by a 7-kilometer trek from Janakichatti to Yamunotri. Bathing and darshan at Yamunotri. (Breakfast and lunch packed) (Night rest in Syanachatti).
Departure for Uttarkashi after lunch. (Night rest in Uttarkashi).
In the morning, departure by bus from Uttarkashi to Gangotri, followed by a dip in the Ganges, darshan of Kashi Vishwanath, and return for night rest in Uttarkashi. (Breakfast and lunch on the way).
After tea and breakfast, departure from Uttarkashi for Kedarnath. (Night rest in Rampur).
In the morning, by bus to Sitapur/Sonprayag, then from Sonprayag to Gaurikund by jeep, and from Gaurikund to Kedarnath, favorable conditions for a comfortable walk. Self-guided journey by horse and palanquin from Gaurikund to Kedarnath, night rest at the camp (in tents). (Lunch packed, dinner at Kedarnath).
Morning darshan of Kedarnath Jyotirlinga, return after breakfast. (Lunch as per convenience).
After tea and breakfast, departure for Badrinath. (Lunch as per convenience, night rest in Badrinath).
Morning bath in Garam Kund and darshan of Lord Badrinath, followed by Pindadan and departure after lunch. (Night rest in Pipalkoti).
Departure from Pipalkoti for Haridwar at 6:00 AM after tea and breakfast. (Night rest in Haridwar, with a visit to Rishikesh).
The journey concludes gracefully with fond memories after a delightful lunch.
Travel Fare
The cost for the tour package, including meals, tea, snacks, guest house, and 2 * 2 bus transportation, will be 23,500/- per person.Advance booking can be made by sending a draft of 1,001/- rupees per traveler in the name of "Shri Shiv Shankar Tirth Yatra (Reg.)" to the Rishikesh office. As soon as the draft or cash amount is received, a receipt will be sent. The remaining tour package cost will be collected upon reaching Haridwar (before the commencement of the journey).
Travel Details
During the journey, breakfast will include tea, snacks, and bed tea in the morning. For lunch and dinner, there will be one lentil dish, one vegetable dish, rice, and roti. Evening tea will also be provided. Desi ghee will be used in roti, dal, and rice, while refined oil will be used for snacks, vegetables, and puris. Basmati rice will be served on both occasions. The use of onions and garlic will be completely avoided. Tawa chapatis will be prepared during the trip, and depending on availability, puris, parathas, and khichdi will also be provided during the pedestrian journeys (Yamunotri, Kedarnath). A lunch packet will be given during the pedestrian journey.
Please bring the following essential items for each traveler: 1 glass, 1 spoon, a thermos, a blanket (bedsheet), warm clothes, raincoat, flashlight, candles, clothesline to dry clothes, water bottle, lock and key, regular medications (those you take daily), etc. The organization will arrange utensils for meals. Travelers must carry their identification documents with them.
For overnight stays, accommodation will be arranged in guest houses/hotels with a maximum of four attached beds in shared rooms with attached latrines/bathrooms for all travelers. Single cots and bedding arrangements will be provided for each traveler by the organization. Due to limited facilities in mountainous regions, arrangements for accommodation on the first, second, and third floors may be made. Your cooperation is appreciated.
Travelers are requested to arrange their bookings based on the group size, such as 2, 4, or 6, to avoid inconvenience in seating arrangements and room accommodations in 2*2 buses.
Our organization does not arrange large halls with beds on the ground like other organizations do in Dharmashalas for the accommodation of travelers.

Travelers must adhere to the following rules:
This journey is in a mountainous region. Therefore, due to the conditions during the journey, the schedule and route may change. The organization's team will provide as much convenience as possible, but inconvenience is natural in mountainous areas. Therefore, at that time, embrace the spirit of penance and provide full cooperation to the manager.
The manager reserves the complete right to separate any traveler who has contagious diseases, behaves inappropriately, or is unwell from the journey, and all disputes will be settled in Rishikesh's jurisdiction.
During the journey, the organization's team members will be present to take care of and guide the travelers. However, travelers themselves will be responsible for financial, physical harm, and natural calamities.
There is a 7-kilometer trek from one side to Yamunotri and a 17-kilometer trek to Kedarnath. Travelers have the option to arrange their own means of transportation, such as helicopters, palanquins, horses, or palkis.
Due to the previous natural calamity, the arrangements (accommodation and meals) in Kedarnath will be based on the available facilities. This tirth yatrawill be conducted according to the regulations and arrangements made by the Uttarakhand government. We seek your blessings and cooperation to make your journey comfortable and successful.
If any traveler discontinues the journey due to any reason or illness, the deposited fare for the journey will not be refunded.
The last row of seats in the bus (5-seater) does not have a pushback feature. Please cooperate with other passengers and help each other during the journey. Seat arrangement will be done through a lottery system.
