The remaining amount will be collected on the day of the journey when boarding the vehicle.

Travel Details

Buses will be arranged by the organization at designated locations. These buses will take the travelers from the railway station to the temples and bring them back to the station after sightseeing. For places without designated markers, the distance from the temple to the station is not significant, and travelers can reach those places on foot or by rickshaw (at their own expense). This way, travelers will have to walk very little.

During the journey, travelers will be provided with bed tea, tea-snacks in the morning, and lunch and dinner in the afternoon and evening. The meal will include one daal, one vegetable, rice, and roti. Tea will be served in the evening. Desi ghee will be used in roti, daal, and rice, while refined oil will be used in snacks, vegetables, and puri. Basmati rice will be served both times. Depending on availability, travelers will also receive pickles, papad, sweets, and salad with the meals. The use of onions and garlic will be avoided. The food will be purely vegetarian, cooked on a wood stove. Each traveler will be provided with a bottle of mineral water during lunch and dinner.

Travelers must carry two passport-sized photos, original voter card, and original Aadhar card with them. Each traveler should bring a glass, spoon, plastic bucket, mug, a plastic seat (3x3 feet) for washing and bathing purposes, and bedding (as per weather conditions).

For the safety of travelers' belongings, arrangements for sufficient people to prepare and serve tea, snacks, and meals on the train will be made by the committee. Travelers should not wear gold or silver jewelry during the journey. During the travel period, the responsibility for financial, physical harm, and the traveler's belongings will be solely on the traveler. The organizing committee will not be responsible for any loss incurred by travelers.

During the train journey, arrangements for a full berth will be provided for each traveler. No bench seats will be placed between compartments. Each compartment will have three-tier sleeper class berths. Travelers should bring bedding (according to weather conditions) for train travel. Where the train is not available, the committee will arrange for travelers' overnight stay at guest houses.

We will provide only basic medical facilities during the journey. Travelers who are on regular medication should bring their medicines along as per the travel program's days. In case of any medical need during the journey, the traveler can arrange for hospital/doctor facilities at their own expense, according to their convenience. Travelers will be responsible for sudden accidents and natural disasters during the journey. Each compartment will have a charging board for mobile phones, but the safety of mobile phones will be the traveler's responsibility.

Elderly individuals and solo female travelers can comfortably undertake the journey as the atmosphere of the trip is homely, making them feel at ease and avoiding any sense of isolation.

For travelers seeking this facility, the organization will provide the necessary documents, receipts, and copies of the travel program by the railways. However, the responsibility of availing the L.T.C./L.F.C. lies with the individual travelers and not with the organization.

Each traveler should bring the remaining travel expenses as cash or a bank draft/cheque payable to "Shri Shiv Shankar Tirth Yatra (Raj. 0)" along with them.

Travelers must adhere to the following rules.

Travelers are required to fully comply with all rules set by the Railway Department for special travel (regarding luggage, railway time table and bogie checking). Any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of Rishikesh (Dehradun) only. Also, any dispute arising under the Consumer Committee will be within the jurisdiction of Rishikesh (Dehradun).

Travelers are requested to inform the head office after booking to avoid any possible errors. While booking the seat, travelers should carefully read the name of the establishment's founder, Shri Lala Shivcharan Lal Agrawal, and the photo, along with the name of the travel agency.

Each traveler must follow the itinerary as per the time table. If anyone separates from the group due to any reason, they will be responsible for reaching the next station/destination at their own expense. Travelers suffering from infectious diseases, consuming intoxicants, or causing disruptions will be excluded from the journey at the discretion of the organizer.

If any traveler wishes to leave the journey due to any reason or illness, the establishment will provide a third-tier sleeper class ticket only to return home. There will be no refund in any situation. This facility will only be applicable until 5 days before the completion of the journey.

Traveling is dependent on train availability and time, so any inconvenience caused due to train delays, flight delays, bus breakdowns, railway changes, bad weather, weekly holidays, strikes, rallies, etc., resulting in no sightseeing at any place, the establishment/organizer kindly requests travelers to cooperate fully and understand the circumstances.

The managers during the journey will make every effort to provide maximum comfort to the travelers; however, some inconvenience during the journey is natural. At that time, following the saying "परदेश नरेश कलेशन" (patience is a virtue in a foreign land), travelers are advised to bear it with a sense of austerity and provide full support to the organizer. Please excuse any errors in printing.

Cancellation rules for the journey: If any traveler wishes to cancel their seat after booking, a written notice must be provided 12 days before the departure date. In this case, after deducting the cancellation fee (railway reservation cancellation fee), the advance amount will be refunded. If the booking is made within the last 12 days before the travel date and the passenger cancels their seat, the advance amount will not be refunded. If the journey is canceled by the passenger up to 5 days before the travel date, in that case, the organization has the legal right to charge the full fare from the passenger. There will be no exemption in this regard.
