Sri Lanka Ramayana Yatra – Ashok Vatika, Sigiriya, Kandy, Nuwara Eliya Yatra

This special pilgrimage tour will commence on 16 July & 10 Sep 2025 from Delhi Airport.

Departure from Delhi / Jaipur / Indore / Mumbai Airport to Colombo Airport. Visit the world-famous Lord Murugan (Kartikeya) Temple in Sri Lanka.

Munneswaram Temple (Lord Shiva temple established by Lord Rama – first temple in Sri Lanka).

Manavari Temple (Lord Shiva temple established by Lord Rama – second temple in Sri Lanka).

Elephant Safari at Sri Lanka National Maitri Sanctuary. (Overnight stay in Sigiriya)

Visit to Ravana Palace, circumambulation of four gates of the palace, Pushpak Viman area, Ringiri Rock, Ravana Canal, Mandodari Bathing Pond, and Ravana Museum.

Trincomalee Beach visit, Deer Park, visit to Koneswaram Temple (third temple established by Lord Rama in Sri Lanka), visit to Shakti Peeth Temple, Ravana Vetthu (where Lord Shiva gave Ravana a powerful sword, mountain is split into two due to its testing), battlefield of Ravana.

Shankari Devi Temple (also known as Indrakshi Devi – one of the 51 Shakti Peeths where Mother Sati’s anklet fell), Vinayaka Temple, and Lakshmi Narayan Temple. (Overnight stay in Trincomalee)

Visit to spice and herbal gardens – the base of Sri Lankan economy. Kandy city tour, Gems Museum, Sri Lankan cultural performance, Kandy Lake sightseeing, and visit to Buddhist Temple. (Overnight stay in Kandy)

Visit to tea plantations, tea gardens, and tea factories (complete tea-making process is demonstrated).

Panch Waterfall sightseeing, Hanuman Temple (where Meghnath had tied Hanuman).

Visit to Ashok Vatika, 108 Shivling Temple (penance site of Meghnath), Maha Guruji Museum, Guru Peetham, and Gayatri Peetham. (Referred to as Kashmir of Sri Lanka)

Site of Agni Pariksha (fire test) where Mother Sita proved her chastity, and Sita’s Spiritual Energy Temple. (Overnight stay in Nuwara Eliya)

Visit to the world-famous Sita Temple, Hanuman Footprint, Sita-Hanuman meeting site, Sita River (where Sita blessed Hanuman with immortality), and sightseeing of beautiful lakes.

Visit to Vibhishana Temple, Anjaneyar Temple, Panchmukhi Hanuman Temple, and Shani Temple.

Colombo city tour: Independence Square, Gangaramaya Buddhist Temple, Lotus Tower Temple, and shopping. End of the journey with sweet memories at Delhi / Jaipur / Indore / Mumbai Airport.

Travel Fare


The total fare for the yatra is ₹69,000 per person, which includes round-trip flight tickets to Colombo, pushback deluxe bus travel, double bed hotel rooms, meals, tea, breakfast, and more. The booking amount is ₹25,000 per passenger, which must be deposited in cash or online into the bank account of "Shri Shiv Shankar Tirth Yatra" (Rishikesh). The remaining payment must be made at least 21 days before the journey begins.

Note: If any passenger cancels the journey after booking, the advance amount will not be refunded.

Rules and Facilities for International Travel:


Every day, morning tea, breakfast, and pure vegetarian lunch and dinner will be provided. The meal menu will be pre-decided by the hotel.

Travelers will be provided with double bed rooms. If a traveler wants a single room, an additional ₹9,000 will be charged, and prior notice is required.

Maximum check-in baggage is 15 kg and hand baggage is 7 kg. Power banks must be kept in hand baggage only. Items like scissors, nail cutters, knives, coconuts, etc., are not allowed on the flight. Boarding passes will be sent via WhatsApp 12 hours before the flight. On the day of travel, travelers must meet the organization’s representative at the respective terminal 3 hours before flight departure.

Original Passport and Voter ID are mandatory for travel. Passport validity must be at least 6 months. After booking, scanned copies of the front and back pages and the orientation page of the passport must be sent via WhatsApp (9640100200).

Entrance fees to sightseeing places and special poojas will be borne by the travelers. The organization will not be responsible for any kind of physical/economic damage or loss of belongings during the trip. If any traveler discontinues the journey due to illness, the return arrangement and expenses will be their own responsibility. No amount will be refunded. If needed, travelers can arrange for a doctor/hospital at their own expense. Timeliness is mandatory. If a traveler is left behind from the group, they will have to reach the next destination at their own cost. All buses will go only up to the sightseeing site’s parking. From there, travelers can walk or take a rickshaw to the temple at their own expense.

The journey will be via pushback deluxe A/C buses and A/C tempo travelers. A/C will be available only while the vehicle is running.

If weather conditions, bus/flight delays, or local reasons (like strikes, rallies, weekly holidays, etc.) prevent visits to any locations, necessary changes may be made in the program. Travelers are requested to remain cooperative in such situations...

Rules

It is mandatory for travelers to follow the rules mentioned below.

During the journey, travelers will be responsible for their own financial, physical losses, and belongings. The organizer will not be responsible for any losses incurred by the travelers. Please follow the rules of flights and railways.

If needed, travelers may arrange hospital/doctor services at their own expense and convenience. Every traveler is required to follow the timetable; if for any reason a traveler gets separated from the group, they must reach the next station/destination at their own cost. All buses will go up to the parking areas of tourist places, and temples are located nearby; therefore, travelers can reach there on foot or by rickshaw at their own expense. This will help reduce walking distance for travelers.

If a traveler wishes to return home midway due to any reason or illness, only a sleeper class railway ticket will be provided by the organizer for reaching home. This arrangement will only be valid up to 5 days before the end of the journey. Refunds under any circumstances will not be provided.

If, due to flight delays, bus breakdowns, bad weather, weekly holidays, closures, rallies, etc., a destination cannot be visited, any changes made to the itinerary by the organizer should be accepted by the travelers with full cooperation, keeping in mind the circumstances.

During the journey, the manager will try their best to provide maximum comfort to the travelers, but some inconvenience is natural during the trip. At such times, please bear with it in the spirit of pilgrimage and extend full cooperation to the manager, as per the saying 'Foreigner is king, bear it with patience.'
