Mahakaleshwar, Omkareshwar Two Jyotirlingas, Ujjain, Narmada River Pilgrimage Tour
This special pilgrimage tour will begin from 15th July 2025, 15th September 2025, 17th November 2025, and 18th January 2026 from Delhi / Jaipur / Kota.
The journey begins from Delhi / Jaipur / Kota railway station, where passengers travel by train to Ujjain. This is the initial stage of the journey, and the overnight travel will be completed in the train.
Upon arrival in Ujjain, first visit the Mokshadayini Maa Kshipra river (optional) for a holy dip. Then, proceed to the revered Goddess Har Siddhi (Shakti Peeth) temple, Bada Ganesh temple, and the world-famous Baba Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga temple.
After lunch and a short rest, visit the rare Kal Bhairav (the commander of Baba Mahakal) temple, offering unique liquor offerings, and the Mangaleshwar temple, dedicated to the God of Mars (Mangalnath), located on the prime meridian of India. Also visit Guru Sandipani Ashram, the sacred place where Lord Krishna imparted teachings to Sudama.
In the evening, pilgrims may choose to attend the Maa Kshipra Aarti or visit Mahakal Lok via local eco-taxis or magic vehicles. Overnight stay in Ujjain.
At 6 AM, depart for Omkareshwar. Upon arrival in Omkareshwar, take a holy dip in the Narmada River. Then, visit the Omkareshwar Jyotirlinga and Mamleshwar Mahadev temples.
After lunch and a short rest, return to Ujjain. (Overnight stay in Ujjain.)
Check-out from the hotel at 11 AM. After lunch, head to Ujjain Railway Station for departure to Delhi / Jaipur / Kota in the evening.
In the morning, arrive at your destination (Delhi, Jaipur, or Kota), completing this spiritual journey with the blessings of Mahakaleshwar and Omkareshwar, along with cherished memories of Ujjain and Narmada.
Tour Fare
The fare for the pilgrimage, including food, tea, snacks, A/C double-bed hotel rooms, and A/C Pushback Deluxe buses for travel to and from Omkareshwar, is ₹9,551/- per passenger. For advance booking, ₹1,001/- per passenger should be deposited either in cash or online into the 'Shri Shiv Shankar Teerth Yatra' SBI bank account in Rishikesh. The remaining fare will be collected by the organization upon arrival in Delhi.
Note: Passengers can also avail the world-famous Bhasm Aarti at Mahakaleshwar Temple, which takes place at 3:30 AM (Advance booking for Bhasm Aarti and the responsibility for going and returning will be on the passenger themselves).
Travel Details
For the passengers, during the journey, morning tea, breakfast, and lunch and dinner will consist of one dal, one vegetable, rice, and roti. Evening tea will be provided. Country ghee will be used in dal, rice, and roti. Refined oil will be used in vegetables and snacks. Depending on time availability, passengers will also be provided with papad and pickle along with meals. The use of onions and garlic is strictly prohibited. The food will be strictly vegetarian and sattvic. During the journey, tawa chapatis will be prepared, and depending on time availability, puris, parathas, and khichdi will also be prepared. Additionally, lunch packets will be provided as per the schedule. During long-distance train travel, meals will be arranged from the authorized IRCTC canteen. One bottle of mineral water will be given to passengers with both lunch and dinner.
Our journey will have only basic medical facilities available. Passengers who take regular medication should bring their medicines according to the travel schedule. In case of necessity, passengers can make their own arrangements for hospital/doctor visits at their own expense. Each passenger will be required to follow the timetable, and if, for any reason, a passenger separates from the group, they will have to reach the next station or destination at their own expense. All buses will go up to the parking area of the tourist spots, and the distance from there to the temples is minimal. Therefore, passengers can go there on foot or by rickshaw at their own cost. This way, passengers will have to walk less. A/C facilities will only be available in the moving bus and not in the parked bus. The administrator reserves the full right to remove any passenger who is suffering from an infectious disease, uses narcotics, or causes disturbances during the journey.
Passengers must carry their original photo identification documents (Aadhar Card and Voter ID) along with one passport-size photograph. If a passenger cancels their seat after booking the journey, the advance amount will not be refunded. The entry fees for sightseeing places will be borne by the passengers.
Rules
Passengers must adhere to the following rules:
During the journey, passengers will be responsible for their own economic, physical losses, and luggage. The administrator will not be held responsible for any losses incurred by the passengers.
If a passenger, for any reason or due to illness, wants to leave the journey incomplete and return home, the administrator will only provide a sleeper class railway ticket to reach their home. This arrangement will only be available until 5 days before the completion of the journey. In no case will the fare be refunded.
If, due to train delays, bus breakdowns, bad weather, weekly holidays, shutdowns, rallies, etc., any sightseeing spot cannot be visited, the organization/administrator will make changes to the program. Passengers are requested to cooperate and understand the circumstances.
During the journey, the manager will try to provide maximum convenience to the passengers, but some inconvenience may occur. In such cases, passengers are advised to endure it with the spirit of "tapasya" (penance) as per the saying "Paradesh Naresh Kaleshan" and offer full cooperation to the administrator.
